About

Sunny Yoon is a licensed architect with nearly two decades of experience shaping hospitality environments. After earning her degree in Architecture in 2007, she honed her expertise at leading international firms including SOM and HOK, working on high-profile projects in New York, Washington DC, and beyond. In 2018, she joined IHG to oversee regional hotel project reviews across the U.S., ensuring brand compliance and design excellence at every stage. Today, as Founder and Principal of StudioYoon, she leads a team delivering comprehensive, end-to-end hotel architecture services—from feasibility and site analysis to design development, construction documentation, renovations, and dual-brand property planning—bringing both visionary design and operational rigor to every project.
